Of course! You can absolutely bring your family. If you are bringing your family, the best option may be to rent a RV spot, tent spot, or book a local hotel. The bunkhouse is reserved for adults only and provide only a single bunk bed per person. If you stay off site, it will cost $100 PER PERSON to get the event wrist band which will include the event shirt, catered meal for Friday night, event decal, and access to the campus Yak Tribe festivities.
Of course! You do not have to pay a single dollar to come out and fish with those attending the event. If you are local or staying off site, we’d love to see you on the water. If you change your mind, you can purchase a wristband for $100. This will include the event shirt, catered meal for Friday night, event decal, and access to the campus Yak Tribe festivities. You will be responsible to book your own stay offsite.
Items to bring: Fishing kayak, rods & reels, tackle, food (we will be providing one catered meal Friday night for the banquet), camping chairs, a camping table if you have one.
Everyone will be chatting and making up plans each day. There are 4 different types of waters to fish as mentioned in the overview video. There will be a loose itinerary each day with freedom to choose what appeals to you. This is a community meetup with an emphasis on fishing with friends and new people. If you want to explore on your own, you are more than welcome to do so.
This is not a tournament. We will be having a friendly rivalry between the two bunkhouses. This is a no pressure event geared towards relaxation, fishing, and community.
