All tournament participants will get FREE raffle tickets to win prizes at the YTKS Block Party at 2pm.

Tampa Bay Yak Tribe Meetup!

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FISH THE TOURNAMENT TO COME TO THE BIG PARTY AT 2PM.

6:30AM-1PM – TOURNAMENT

Yak Tribe Kayak Shop is hosting a local kayak fishing tournament April 27th from 6:30am to 1pm.

2PM – 5PM – BLOCK PARTY
At 2pm YTKS is hosting a FREE TO ANYONE block party hosted at the new Solely Therapeutic Massage location in St. Petersburg, Florida. You do not have to participate in the kayak fishing tournament to come. In fact, even if you don’t kayak fish at all – we want you to come.

There will be FREE raffles, door prizes, games, music, and more.

What can you bring?

Bring your lawn chairs, your kayaks if you want to display them for others to see your rig and setup, and feel free to bring a small charcoal grill and grill out with us! It’s going to be an old school block party!

Tournament boundaries

Tampa Bay, Florida Boundaries

  • Most northern boundary: Road 586.

    • Caladesi Island State Park is NOT in the boundaries. 

  • Most southern boundary: Manatee River. Terra Ceia is in bounds just refer to the red line to make sure you are fishing and launching within boundaries. 

    • Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, Longboat Key, and Sarasota are NOT in the boundaries. 

  • You may fish all of Tampa Bay and Old Tampa Bay within the red boundary lines. 

  • You may fish all of Fort De Soto Park, Gibsonton, Apollo Beach within the red boundary lines.

  • You may fish the beach and intercostal waterways on the western boundary line.
